A Visit From A Native American- Ms. Barber

We had a great opportunity to listen to Ms. Barber this morning. She shared artifacts that she had collected her entire life. Ms. Barber was a wealth of information, and the children LOVED her presentation! Thank you Ms. Barber and Nasha!

Thanksgiving!

Remember there is no school on Wednesday, November 27th-Friday, November 29th! We all have so much to be thankful for, but I wanted you to know that I am genuinely thankful for this group of children. Room 110 is a group of smart, hard-working, sweet children. I enjoy every day that we are together!

About Me

I am thrilled to be teaching second grade at Craddock. Although I have been teaching for over twenty years, the last eleven have been here in Aurora. Five of those eleven years were focused on Math Intervention. I have a Reading Endorsement, and recently completed my Master's Degree in Reading. I consider teaching in Aurora a privilege. The support from parents, the district, and the community are like nowhere I've ever been. I have been married to my husband Ron for 28 years. We have two children who have gone through Aurora Schools, Abbey and Jack. I believe the education they received here in Aurora was top notch. I hope that I can help give your child the same strong foundation that our children have received.
