Dads and Donuts!

Thanks to all the Dads who helped get us off to a great start today! It was wonderful seeing you, and I know the kids were thrilled.

Force DEFINITELY Equals Motion!

The kids had a great time experimenting with force and motion today. After we formulated our hypothesis about the amount of force related to the distance, we experimented outside with a giant slingshot! In case you're wondering... a slingshot pulled back 80 centimeters will travel 16 meters!!

About Me

I am thrilled to be teaching second grade at Craddock. Although I have been teaching for over twenty years, the last eleven have been here in Aurora. Five of those eleven years were focused on Math Intervention. I have a Reading Endorsement, and recently completed my Master's Degree in Reading. I consider teaching in Aurora a privilege. The support from parents, the district, and the community are like nowhere I've ever been. I have been married to my husband Ron for 28 years. We have two children who have gone through Aurora Schools, Abbey and Jack. I believe the education they received here in Aurora was top notch. I hope that I can help give your child the same strong foundation that our children have received.
